Notes:

The second Status Pro Baseball season ran at the end of 1980 using the 1979 teams. Below is the welcome newsletter and the mid-year report. I don't have any of the stat sheets - which is too bad. But, the remaining documents are pretty funny.

Below are some general recollections of the game.

• My notes showed I played the 1979 New York Yankees - yeah, I was in kind of a rut.
• This was also the year that Sid "The Sponge" Monge lived under a lucky kitchen sponge in Doug Scott's stadium - waiting to be called in to clean up the game.
• And, lest we forget Bernie "Grit-Eating Freak" Carbo who played on Neil's team - walks on 71 to 82? Yeah, right.
• Neil won the league playing the St. Louis Cardinals. We don't have written proof, but the collective memory is pointed in that direction.
