Barony of Weremouth
The most southern of the Northern Barons, Weremouth was established in 640 TA boardered on the north by the Wilderland River, the south by the Dark River, and on the east by the Whispering Hills. Most recently the site of the disasterous defeat at the Battle of the Wilderland River in 883 TA (see the Hastur Rebellions), this area has seen many battles of historical significance. The ruins of the Second Age fortress, Brixworth Castle, and the ruins of the early Third Age garrison at the Crystal Castle attest to this history. Even today, the Barony is considered the edge of the civilized world by the city folk of Teufeldorf. Beasts from the Grimore Jungle in the west and Whispering Hills in the east provide a constant challenge for Baron John Weremouth, the current ruler.
