Barony of Middlewich

Formed as the part of the Middle Reaches expansion in 621 TA (see Barony of Guildford above), Middlewich has always been the poorest of the Northern Baronies. In 712 TA, the cousin of the Baron of Middlewich was made Lord March of Wirksworth with responsibility of protecting the northern border of the Middle Reaches from an increasing orcish threat. Close ties between these two barony still exists to this day with frequent marriages between the sons and daughters of the noble families.
