With the overwhelming victories of 918TA, the Reaches pushes for a full military invasion.
In early 918TA, the Three Kings launch a massive invasion on the Old Kingdom - a definitive strike against their enemies to crumble their resolve. Troops are sent in from both the north and south. Rebel elves from the west complete the trap. The Old Kingdom abandons the south to focus troops on the central Kingdom.
May saw the first heavy action with open field victories by the dwarves in the north and the Eastern Reaches to the south. Naval exchanges kept both sides focused on the land battles.
In June the Eastern Reaches sieges Flatwick, the first of a number of successful Reaches sieges including Dewbury (July), Deep Port (August) and Greymaw Castle (September). As the forces pressed towards White Cliff, the Old Kingdom rallied with a number of minor open field victories. A number failed September sieges by the Reaches assured the Old Kingdom would survive to fight another day.
In the end, the Old Kingdom faced widespread unrest as the number of lost cities, towns and castles mounted. The Reaches took loot back to their shores with a plan to finish the war the following year. Victory is at hand.
