The Frostbeards are the most northern of the dwarven clans with territories ranging as far north as the Frozen Sea. These dwarves are known as the finest armorers in the Reaches, surpassed in mastery only by the dwarves of Calinshold. Their signature armor is called Steelskin which is identified by its trademark three overlapping dragon scales. They have a single stronghold which is rumored to have been built around the central shaft of an almost inactive volcano. The magma at the bottom of the shaft provides them with the extraordinary heat to ply their craft while also providing warmth for the living quarters nearer the surface.
