One of the smaller warbands, the Dripping Blade Orcs come from the boggy marshes of Dourmoor and their ranks include equal numbers of orcs and goblins. They are known for their cleverness with mechanical devices including the feared orcish rock lobbers. The current warboss, Gok Demoncrawler, is a personal servant to Gruumsch whose castle is located in the festering swamp of the Dripping Blade homeland. It is said that Gok is part goblin and part demon spawn. Within the Dourmoor are pools of poison which are tended by the shaman of the tribes and used for warfare with their enemies.

Dourmour
The vast tract of the Dourmoor is some of the most fetid land in the Reaches. Fed by three major rivers and a number of small tributaries, this swamp is constantly flooded. Mire and muck abound, and the area is infested by billions of small, black biting flies. A single road winds its way through the Dourmoor, and death comes quickly to any who stray from the path. The Orcs of the Dripping Blade Warband roam throughout this bleak region, their weapons poisoned from the venomous springs found here. Currently the home of Gruumsch, the Supreme Overlord of the Orc Nation, travel to the Dourmoor is common as orcs bring in tributes for their leader.
Ransom River
Rushing westward down from its headwaters in the Shadowyarn Mountains, the Ransom River runs across the Vile March and into the marshes of Dourmour. Near the mountain Pass of Lar, frequent raiders swoop down from Stonefist on unsuspecting travlers. Once across the river, the traveler's families and subjects have no choice but to pay the ransom of the orcish bandits.
